- We love the world and settings of Drift & Dagger. But what we love more than that is watching these places being infused with magic. It is flawlessly integrated into the world and we love seeing the power and fun of it all.
- Mal. Mal. And more Mal. You guys, seriously. We fell for this boy big time. It happened from the very beginning and just continued page after page. He’s inquisitive, deep, a little damaged, sometimes broken, and majorly swoony… and he doesn’t even know it. We know you’ll love him too.

I haven’t read Salt & Storm #1 but you’ve definitely persuaded me that I need to pick it up 🙂

It’s innacurate to say that Drift and Dagger is Salt and Storm #2. It’s actually a prequel, and can stand alone. I got ahold of an advanced reading copy being given away, and got caught up in the intense story, without having read Salt and Storm. It’s very dark and edgy, with a lot of twists and turns. The ending is very bittersweet and painful. I did enjoy the book though, if only in a morbid and anxious sort of way.
Thanks for letting us know. It’s hard to not mark stories that are related somehow just in case someone heard of one and not the other. Glad you enjoyed it, even if it hurt! 🙂
