Flashback Friday on Swoony Boys Podcast featuring The Maze Runner by James Dashner

It’s time for Flashback Friday, where we feature a book that’s at least two years old. They could be books we’ve read and loved or books we need to jump on.

“If you ain’t scared, you ain’t human.”

When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his name. He’s surrounded by strangers–boys whose memories are also gone.

Outside the towering stone walls that surround the Glade is a limitless, ever-changing maze. It’s the only way out–and no one’s ever made it through alive.

Then a girl arrives. The first girl ever. And the message she delivers is terrifying.

This book is brilliant, and if you haven’t had a chance to read it yet, now is the perfect time! The movie hits screens in September.

  1. So, they did early release tickets here 2 days ago for this movie and I couldn’t go because my husband was out of town. I won’t be able to see it when it comes out because I’ll be in Disney with the fam – and I’m just so desperate to see my boy Dylan as Thomas. And yes, he’s mine. Yes, I know I’m nearly 11 years older than him – stop looking at me like that! 😉

  2. The Maze Runner seems like a real nail-biter. I’m not sure I would survive reading it. Great choice though. My husband and oldest son loved the series. Check out my Flashback Friday
