  12. I love Drawing Blood by Poppy Z. Brite. I had never heard of her before until high school when two friends of mine read that book. I just read it a couple years ago, and if I think about it even now late at night, I get totally creeped out!

  36. Karina Halle is coming to mind first as writing good spook, but I have to out myself as a fanfic hoor and say that The Elusive Mr Cullen by Daria Chenowith is my favorite spooky story 🙂
