Today we’re joining in on the fun of Top Ten Tuesday with Ten Books We’re Thankful For.
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
The books that brought us together. We can never be thankful enough to Stephenie Meyer for that.
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
One of the books that got us reading again.

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
What can we even say about this series? It’s perfection. And without Harry Potter, we couldn’t appreciate Finding Himself for the genius that it is.
Divergent by Veronica Roth
The book that set us on our path to BEA and to becoming blogging partners. Yay!
Delirium by Lauren Oliver
We can’t even tell you how many hours we spent speculating what was going to happen in the last book of this series. Though we’re not thrilled with the way things turned out, it was time well-spent in that it brought us together.
Red Rising by Pierce Brown
When Meg read this book, she could barely contain her enthusiasm. It’s a little too gory for Kass, but that doesn’t stop either one of them from recommending it and loving it.
The Serpent King by Jeff Zentner
Not only was reading this book a life-changing experience, but this is also the book that allowed us to get to chat with Jeff Zentner.
More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
Without More Happy Than Not, we wouldn’t have been able to run into to Adam Silvera at BEA. And our lives would be poorer for it.
Hello? by Liza Wiemer
We’ve met a lot of authors over the years, but it would be difficult for us to be happier for any of them as much as we were for Liza Wiemer when we found out she got a publishing deal for Hello?. Of course the book is brilliant. But the genuine

The last book we’ll mention isn’t even necessarily a book at all yet. It’s whatever book we read next that we love (or hate) enough to dish about with each other and with you, pretties. We’re so thankful that we get to read every day and have a voice. We’ll never stop being thankful for that.
So, that’s our list this week. Have you read any (or all) of these? What books are you most thankful for?
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. We ♥ it!
I’ll always have the softest spot for Twilight. I stopped reading in grade school and didn’t start back up for decades…when the Twilight movies released. I’d had such little interest in reading for so long, but I wanted to read Breaking Dawn rather than wait an extra year, so I read it first! Then I started at the beginning. I have Twilight books, movies, Barbies, Pops, etc. And I listen to the audiobooks at night when I can’t sleep.
I also loved the Delirium series and The Serpent King, and really liked Divergent and Harry Potter (I still have two HP books to read, though…I’m a late bloomer. I just finished the fifth one about a week ago and will probably read the final two next year).
