Life. Death. And…Love?

Emma would give anything to talk to her mother one last time. Tell her about her slipping grades, her anger with her stepfather, and the boy with the bad reputation who might be the only one Emma can be herself with.

But Emma can’t tell her mother anything. Because her mother is brain-dead and being kept alive by machines for the baby growing inside her.

Meeting bad-boy Caleb Harrison wouldn’t have interested Old Emma. But New Emma-the one who exists in a fog of grief, who no longer cares about school, whose only social outlet is her best friend Olivia-New Emma is startled by the connection she and Caleb forge.

Feeling her own heart beat again wakes Emma from the grief that has grayed her existence. Is there hope for life after death-and maybe, for love?

***About the Author***

Author Elizabeth ScottELIZABETH SCOTT grew up in a town so small it didn’t even have a post office, though it did boast an impressive cattle population. She’s sold hardware and panty hose and had a memorable three-day stint in the dot-com industry, where she learned that she really didn’t want a career burning CDs. She lives just outside Washington, D.C., with her husband, and firmly believes you can never own too many books.

  1. ” OMG Let’s Totally Talk About It… ” :

First off, let me just say that your comment heading —>
That is the, like, perfect for a heading for a comment section title!!
It’s so energetic and fun!! 😀

Second, the About the Author section is so cool. Elizabeth Scott sounds so cool. Her background about were she grew up, all the jobs she has done, and everything else makes me feel like she is the/would be the kind of person that would be fun to hang out with- all of that within a tiny, brief summery/description of her.
I always find the “About the Author” or “Meet the Author” or an interview, to be interesting and intriguing. Leaving me with a larger interest and wounder about their their books. To see and understand the person behind the words…..
    The creator.

    AND!!!!!!!!!!!!

    THIRD,
THIS GIVEAWAY IS SO EXCITING AND COOL AND OH MY GODS, THE BOOK SOUNDS SO INTERESTING!! I already added it t my GoodReads “want to red” shelf as soon as I read the book description! Also, the title is perfect and the book over is so cute and pretty- I have an obsession with book covers (my reasons and the story/stories are WAY too long). The picture of the back cover is like a quote and oh my Gods, like, whatever, the words made my heart flutter and my stomach full of butterflies! Nothing can describe it. Wow…………

and I 100% agree with Elizabeth’s thought and belief of: “You can never own too many books”

So excited about this contest!! 😀

    #Awesomeness.

  2. I like stories that start with a sad beginning and hopeful end up with a better outcome
